Charmanie Brooks - President

I have ten years of information technology (IT) support and development. With this knowledge, I will be able to maintain and develop our current camera support systems and enhancements needed for our community.

The 16 years of combined experience in the automotive, administrative and technology industry has allowed me to maintain my strong analytical skills, data management capabilities, experience in implementation of security policies and standards, maintenance and coordination of information which will help me to positively contribute to our Community.

I have updated my yearIy Board certification requirements, to keep abreast of the changes of the laws that affect the operations of our community. I remain vigilant, which ensures that all our residents abide by our rules. Allowing all to be as comfortable as possible, while increasing the values of Cypress Chase North. I am Iooking forward to working with you for another year in the best interest of our community.

Sheldon Holder - Secretary

I, Sheldon Holder, have been a resident of Cypress Chase North for the past eight years.

It has been an honor to serve on the board from 2017 to 2020 as secretary and to be a part of the great progress that has been made toward the safety, convenience and security of the residents.

I would like to continue to assist with the efficient resolution of concerns of residents, and to bring progressive and fair procedures to the residents of our building, all in keeping with the by-laws and rules of our building.

I view resident participation and communication as a key factor to ensure the collective objectives of our community.

Michael Young - Treasurer

I have resided in the CCN community since 1990 and have served on the boards of Buildings 3 and 4.

My experience centers around a vast knowledge of banking, financial services, mortgage brokerage, auto finance/sales, real estate and insurance.

I have worked in the banking industry for 15 years from a teller position to management, providing financial services, mortgages, commercial and personal loans and account services.

As a mortgage broker and realtor, I provided loan services and real estate transactions throughout this and other communities in Florida.

I was a special finance manager providing personal auto loans and sales at one of the leading Toyota dealerships in Broward County.

Presently, I am a claims adjuster with one the largest providers of insurance for condos and homes in the State of Florida. We analyze the cost of repairs and replacement due to losses sustained to dwellings.

I have served on the board of Building 3 as treasurer, providing valuable insight and making sure we remain financially stable.

We are proud of our achievements thus far, and with your continued support, will provide the best solutions for the betterment of the community.

Robert Curran - Director

My name is Robert ("Rob")  Curran, and I have lived in Cypress Chase North for 18 years.

As a director of Building 3, I've been privileged to serve my fellow residents for half a decade now. Kindly accept my thanks.

Please allow me to present my qualifications for director.

I have a Master's degree in International Business. I served for seven years as product planning manager at Motorola. There, our team had profit and loss responsibility for a $50 million line of two-way radios. At two Fortune 500 companies, I've led teams responsible for producing five-year strategic guide plans and annual operating plans.

Today, I work from home as a marketing communications consultant in my own company, The Write Partner For You. Thus, I am physically present at CCN3 more than any other director. I'm on site probably 80% of the time. Many of you have undoubtedly seen my face when the fire alarm sounds. I am often the first director out on the sidewalk, calling 911 to summon firefighters and first responders.

Every year I attend several continuing education courses for condominium directors. Why? To upgrade the knowledge and skills required to serve our community effectively.

Allow me to express gratitude for the current team at Building 3. We have a highly competent and capable board: Ms. Charmanie Brooks and Messrs. Michael Young, Richard Young, and Sheldon Holder.

Over the past five years, the board has prudently managed the financial affairs of Building 3. For example, in 2019, the board completed major upgrades to our infrastructure. We modernized our two elevators and installed a closed circuit TV monitoring system.

In other condominiums, boards often finance such budget-busting upgrades with thousand dollar special assessments and hefty increases in maintenance fees. But here at CCN3, the board funded the high-value upgrades internally, with no special assessments and no increases in maintenance. How? By scrupulously maintaining our reserves and through careful budgeting and fiscal management.

Ingrid Roberts - Director

My name is Ingrid Roberts, and I have lived at Cypress Chase North for over 16 years.  I am currently employed by the City of Sunrise in the Financial Department. 

I hold a B.S and M.S. degrees in Public Administration from Barry University and Columbia Southern University.  I represent Cypress Chase North by serving as a board member for the City of Lauderdale Lakes Zoning and Planning Department & Budget and Finance Department.   I discovered my passion for community service and helping others whilst pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Public Administration.  In addition to public service, I am involved in other organizations, such as Caribbean American Democratic Club and Caucus as Treasurer and Secretary.  I love spending time with family and friends, dancing, reading the bible, watching all sports, and community service. I believe that my passion and experience in public service, civic service, community service and financial background will help me to deliver the highest level of customer service to our property owners.
